Volatility Gauge

The volatility gauge shows how active the sky is: how many tense configurations are in play, not which way prices go.

What it measures

The gauge rises when the sky is busy with tense aspects, stations and eclipses, and falls when it is quiet. The tradition reads an active sky as wider swings in either direction.

What it does not measure

It carries no direction. A high reading says the tradition expects movement, not whether it is up or down.
