How to Read AstroFinex Market Weather
What the weather icons, the stance and the gauges on AstroFinex mean, and what they do not mean.
One axis on the screen
Every AstroFinex reading shows one direction, the stance, and the icon, the badge and the written note all read that same number. If you ever see a sunny icon above a note that reads lower, something is wrong, and we would like to hear about it.
The five icons
Sunny means the tradition reads the period clearly higher. Partly cloudy means higher. Cloudy means level: the sky does not lean either way, and it is always shown in grey because there is no side to claim. Rain means lower. Storm means clearly lower.
Where the direction comes from
The stance weighs the natural benefics (Jupiter, Venus, a strong Moon and Mercury) against the natural malefics (Saturn, Mars, Rahu, Ketu), adjusted for how strong or afflicted each one is. The balance is placed into bands calibrated separately for days, weeks and months, and separately for single instruments and for the market as a whole.
The gauges
Clarity, volatility and risk sit next to the icon and claim no direction. They come from how harmonious or tense the sky is. A high volatility gauge says the tradition expects wider swings in either direction.
Daily, weekly, monthly
The three timeframes are read separately. A week can read higher while one of its days reads lower. Months almost never read level, because over a month the slow malefics always weigh in.
How to use it responsibly
Use the weather as a calendar with a viewpoint. It is how classical astrology reads the sky, computed exactly and consistently. It is not a forecast, it is not financial advice, and AstroFinex does not claim its direction beats a coin flip.
